About

Hello there!  I am a 21 year old college senior studying history, human rights, the Middle East, and creative writing and living in NYC.  I like baking, running, yoga, writing, eating, learning, history, flowers, birds, and telling stories.  If I could only eat two foods for the rest of my life it would be oatmeal and apples.

This blog is about the many dimensions of health.  Sometimes posts will be from a personal perspective, other times I will talk about professional articles or provide you all with health-related resource.  I think it is important to acknowledge that we take care of our bodies, through healthful, delicious, satisfying food and sensible exercise, AND our minds by nourishing ourselves emotionally.

Disclaimer: I am not a health professional in any way.  Sometimes I will send you to professional articles or websites that can provide more details on a particular subject.  Everything I write about comes from my personal experience.

Thanks for stopping by my blog!  Feel free to stay a while and/or leave a comment!

That is such a unique name! I love it 🙂 How do you pronounce it? Oatmeal is awesome but I would not be able to live off of apples! I wish I could but whole apples just aren’t appetizing to me at all. The combination of the two is heavenly though!

Caronae, I love that you pair physical health with mental health. Both are such important aspects to our whole selves! I’m also a history major. I’m excited to keep reading!

Is your name Welsh? It sounds like a name I’ve heard in my Welsh family tree.

BTW I love your food choices. 🙂

I think that health is a really good general idea for a blog. And for that matter, I think blogging itself is good for your mental health. It helps to let all your thoughts out and know that someone somewhere thinks they’re important! Keep writing Caronae!
